I stayed at the Chapter for a month and a half with my wife and infant, and it felt like a home away from home. We had a roomy apartment with two bathrooms and showers, a washer and dryer, a big kitchen, and a living room, which made our time in Tainan much easier. The staff at the Chapter were wonderful. I don’t speak Mandarin, but they helped with everything from regulations to Uber Eats questions, always with a smile. Any room request was dealt with and resolved right away. When I needed to extend the stay, they rearranged the schedule to make it work for my family. I’m so glad we made this trip and stayed here.

We were greeted by the building attendant, who helped us check in, and had a nice experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and minimalist, and there’s a parking lot, which can be hard to find in Tainan. The location is great too. A Michelin Gourmand restaurant is just one block away, the food and event streets are two blocks away, and historic Dutch buildings and Tainan’s modern art museum are nearby.

We had a lovely stay. The place was spacious and very clean, and the staff were helpful. They also provided a Google map with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations.
