We found hair in the breakfast. We had paid for two breakfasts, but one of us was turned away and asked to pay extra, so he had to eat at a nearby restaurant instead. We told the staff and front desk, but they wouldn't refund the cost of the breakfast he couldn't have. They just said, “sure feel free to leave a review”.

We had a very good stay for a few hours. The hotel is conveniently placed near monuments worth seeing, and the staff were friendly.

The hotel is in a good spot, with plenty of sightseeing nearby. Our room was on the top floor, the 10th, room 1001 beside the water dispenser. It had a king bed, was quiet, and looked out over the city. There was free laundry with detergent, a washer and dryer on B1, and a well-equipped gym. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a free shuttle from the train station. Breakfast came with the stay, but was disappointing. At 8am on two of our three mornings, about 75% of the hot dishes were empty and took a long time to refill. Most of the food was only lukewarm, even the buns in the steamer. On the first morning at 7am the hot dishes were full, but I found a baby roach in my congee. I'd also put pork from the hot dishes and pork floss in it, so it might have come from either of those. There was no in-room safe, and the wifi was slow.

The room was small, but I mostly just slept there since I was out all day. For a budget hotel, this was much better than I expected, especially the location, breakfast, and amenities. So many things to see are within walking distance, and getting around Tainan was easy, some of the best transport I've experienced. I'd stay here again if I come back to Tainan.
