H Villa

The villa, room, pool, and car porch were all big, and everything else was good. The mosquitoes were the one problem. Management should do something about them.

The privacy here is top class, especially for couples. Once the garage gate is fully closed, no one can see into the suite, including the outdoor area and pool. You can basically be naked anywhere. The private garage also lets you get out of the car right at the doorstep. Inside, the design is fancy, the room is clean, and the bed is big. There’s an amazing indoor massage tub, personal care products including soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and even a condom, plus a high-quality TOTO brand toilet. A few things might bother some people: the private pool had a strong chlorine smell; the toilet was open to the living area with no door or even curtain, which felt embarrassing; and breakfast was just fair.

It’s a lovely hotel that feels like a small villa, with very good service and a nice-looking room. It’s a bit far from everything, and room service only offers one dish, beef noodle. There’s a family mart and supermarket nearby, though.

The weekend check-in time is 8 PM, and it was tucked into tiny print at the very bottom of the itinerary. That was frustrating since 8 PM check-in isn’t common, and they could have made it bigger or bold. The room looked clean, but the sheets smelled strongly of cigarettes. This motel is in the middle of nowhere, with no 7-11 or family mart within walking distance. The room service menu had four hot foods, two kinds of cigarettes, and two alcoholic drinks. Service was just so-so, nothing special. I also kept hearing a tapping or chewing noise, and I’m sure it was a rat inside the walls. The room is a good size for the price, but I’d rather spend my money somewhere else.
