Jia Hong Hotel

This little hotel is affordable and handy for an overnight stay, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The boss was friendly and helpful.

It’s cheap, so don’t expect a lot. For one night, though, it’s absolutely fine.

This was my third stay. The room was reasonably clean and didn’t smell of smoke. Soundproofing was average, so earplugs are a good idea. An electric mosquito swatter could come in handy too. It was fully booked on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the 23rd day of the month, because there was a competition in the room. Some rooms have newer, excellent air conditioning, while others have older units that don’t work well. If there are only a few guests, you can tell the owner and he’ll take care of it quickly. He’s a rather authoritative older gentleman, and the service is very friendly. I wish smoking weren’t allowed on the ground floor or in the covered walkway.

I can live with the condition of the room. The mosquitoes were the one real problem: I killed more than ten the first night and still couldn’t get rid of them all. They disrupted my sleep, so I gave it four stars. Everything else was fine.
