Jia Hsin Garden Hotel

We came back for a few weeks in May 2025, and the staff were just as friendly and kind as on earlier visits. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, with great coffee. Thanks, we’ll see you again soon! We’ve stayed long term at many hotels in Tainan while visiting family and friends, and Jia Hsin Garden House is the best we’ve found. The front desk and housekeeping staff are fantastic and seem to really care about making guests comfortable. It has a great location, free parking, and a relatively quiet setting. We’ll definitely stay here again.

We’re completely satisfied with this hotel. We first stayed for a week from the end of February into early March, went away for ten days, then returned for another week. Halfway through, we extended our vacation by a week. Our original room was sold out, so we booked another one online and asked the front desk about an early check-in. They said they’d try, and after we checked out and brought our luggage down, they let us know within ten minutes that the new room was ready. That was so kind, especially after staying long term at lots of hotels. They also gave us a stack of coupons for the drinks bar and items for sale. The cleaning ladies were very nice and even remembered we were going on a tour around the island while we were away. The location is great, close to night markets in the north district, a great area to stay in. Amazing hotel, they deserve five stars. I recommend it to anyone coming to Tainan.

The rooms are great, and there’s a cafe on level one. Guests can get dinner or supper on weekdays.

The room assignment didn't work out well for us. The TV kept asking for a parental control password, though staff came quickly after we called and got it working. Later, the in-room Wi-Fi gave us trouble and the TV malfunctioned again. The receptionist eventually gave me the default password, which helped. The bathtub was another issue. It took an hour to fill, and I first assumed that was to save water, until I found out my friends in other rooms didn't have the same problem. Breakfast was just so-so, though there was cereal and cappuccino, so I can't complain too much.
