The breakfast was a real bright spot. The restaurant owner was friendly, and there was a good selection: white and wholemeal bread, soy milk, orange juice, coffee, plus Taiwanese food like soup, rice and porridge with dishes. The porridge toppings included salted egg, century egg, pickles, and other sides. The dishes changed each day. I booked the 82m² Deluxe Double on my first trip to Tainan because the space meant we could leave our luggage out without crowding the room. It was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The area is mostly residential and quiet at night, and it seems more suited to locals or anyone with a car, since you get a garage to yourself. The nearest convenience store and night market were both around a 10-15 minute walk. Leaving the motel, the receptionist asked for our room number and closed the garage door for us. There was no key for us to do it ourselves. When we returned, they opened it before we reached the room. Check-in was strictly at 6pm, which was rough after an 8hr flight. Early check-in cost NT$300 per hour. The aircon remote didn't control the temperature, and the room stayed cold even when we set it higher. Still, it was a good first stay in a love motel, with a roomy clean room and good breakfast. It is a walk to shops and night markets.

We got in pretty late last night, but the staff were still friendly and welcoming. They offered to arrange late-night snacks quickly if we wanted, though that was only available until midnight. Breakfast was included, and our room had no bad smell. The place is not far from the Garden Night Market, and the facilities seemed well-kept rather than dated. The big bathtub was the highlight, especially because the jacuzzi actually worked. I've stayed in plenty of places where the massage function was broken. There was a TV too. For under 2000 yuan, it felt like very good value. I'd happily stay again.

After one night here, I was happy to book the same room again for the next day. The price was reasonable, the surroundings seemed nice, and the soundproofing was good. They did provide meals, though I didn't try them. I came to Tainan around early October. I had first planned on a guesthouse, but parking problems and other room disturbances put me off, so I chose this place instead.

There was plenty of space, plus a bathtub and a wet and dry separated area. But there wasn't a barrier, so shower water ran out and you had to watch your step. The only mirror was in the toilet, which got in the way when brushing my teeth or putting on makeup. Aside from that, it was a comfortable, nice place.
