King & Princess Motel - Jian Kang

A month ago, I paid a deposit to reserve three rooms and checked several times that all three rooms in a row were confirmed. I’d also asked in advance about the extra fee for arriving early, and checked in at 8 PM as scheduled. That evening, they told me only two rooms were available. The third was still being prepared, and I had to wait another half hour. What was the deposit for? It felt like they had no integrity and were letting other guests jump the line to make money. I’ll never stay here again. Other potential guests should think twice. Even paying half the deposit upfront doesn’t guarantee the rooms.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with huge bathtubs, and the staff are incredibly friendly. When we found that our booked room hadn’t been cleaned properly, they quickly arranged another one for us. They even gave us a breakfast voucher and a red envelope as gifts! 🧧 This seems to be the hotel everyone chooses when they come to Tainan.

The room was bright, and the bathroom was clean, with the shower and toilet separated. The price was reasonable, and both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. My only gripe is that the TV and sound system could be better. Guofei Eagle Castle will be my first choice next time I stay in Tainan.
