OC Hostel

I’m a bicycle tourist, and you can bring your bike inside on the first floor. They actively welcome cyclists. This was my second stay. The first was in 2023, when I kept extending my visit again and again. The hosts are lovely, and they’re the main reason I came back. King is very communicative and attentive. Ask him about the city and I think you’ll get a good answer. It feels like a homestay, apartment, or private hotel: simple private rooms with piping hot water, really good internet, and individual aircon. The rooms are off a quiet alley, so there’s no road noise. There’s a shared kitchen and fridge, plus a shared laundry machine. I’d recommend it to bike tourists and backpackers exploring Tainan. After check-in, you can get King’s whatapp and ask him for whatever guidance you need. Can’t wait to visit again!

King is sooo friendly and quick to respond. The location makes it easy to explore the city on foot, with great local food nearby. Like the other reviews say, this place deserves more than 5 stars. I’d rather stay here and experience the culture than book a hotel.

OC Hostel has only private rooms, and ours was very clean. The location was convenient, too. King was a lovely host and even held a tea ceremony for us. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

King was friendly, fun, and patient, and the homestay was in a great spot, central but calm. The comfortable bed and soft linen gave me the best sleep of my whole trip around Taiwan!
