Seven Nights

The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff were especially friendly. I spent the whole afternoon working through a series of calls in the lounge while waiting for my evening ride to Taipei. I worried I'd bother them by staying there so long, but they said they'd keep the noise down for me and even offered WiFi in their nearest room. A really pleasant stay at this boutique hotel in central West Central District of Tainan.

The room had a lovely feel, with beautiful decor, but we hadn't expected it to have no window. The pillows were thick and uncomfortable, and there was only one size to choose from.

It's a peaceful B&B in a quiet little alley, and the whole west area has a relaxed, slow pace. The digital gate made it feel safe from the main entrance, and going keyless was handy for our group. We had a two-room apartment for four, with a spacious bathroom and a room heater that was really useful in cold weather. The living area was just the right size, and there was a kitchen with a drinking water tap. The B&B was very clean and felt homey. There are food stalls and shops nearby, depending on luck. The city isn't especially lively, but within a 20-minute walk we found cultural streets, street food, an artisan bakery cafe, traditional and modern dessert spots, cocktail bars, and KTV bars. There are also plenty of hidden bars to explore after 8 PM. It seems suitable for both younger and older visitors, and is a nice place to rest and relax.

We came across this hotel by accident on Google and are so glad we stayed. Reception said it had only opened the previous month. Our room was clean, nice, and brand new. There was no window, but it was still bright inside. The price was more affordable than nearby hotels, yet the place didn't feel cheap at all, and the design was elegant. We had a wonderful stay and a good rest. I'd definitely come back and strongly recommend it!
