DON’T BOOK HERE, THIS HOSTEL DOESN’T EXIST. My travel agency made the reservation, but when I arrived the door was shut. The phone number on the booking wasn’t available. I took a taxi to another hotel and haven’t looked back.

The owner and hostess are really friendly, parking downstairs is convenient, and the price is affordable. The bed was very comfortable too.

The purple room I wanted was huge, with the bedroom and bathroom each about the size of the living room. Having a private bathroom is a big plus for a B&B. The owner supplied individual toiletries that weren’t unbranded, which made me feel safe using them, along with bath towels, toothbrushes, and a hair dryer. I care about mattress support and pillow softness, and both suited me. I slept really well. The window air conditioner was very cool and a little noisy, but its sound reminded me of my childhood at my grandmother's house and actually made me feel safe. Everything was clean and comfortable. It’s downtown, and Tea Magic was the only place I saw for food, parking, banks, convenience stores, Xiaobei, TP-LINK, bakeries, breakfast shops, and hand-cranked drinks. The owner recommended eel fried noodles, which were absolutely delicious. There’s a foot massage place across the street, then you can shower and sleep back at the B&B. It works well for travel or business, and it’s close to Anping. Highly recommended.

A PX Mart and Xiaobei Department Store nearby made things convenient. The landlady was warm and friendly, and our room was clean and spacious. The bed was large and just the right firmness. I’d definitely come again if I get the chance.
