The rooms were cleaned regularly, and the space was beautiful and peaceful. Front desk staff were so kind, happy to chat about their favorite places in the city, and ready to help with anything else we needed. They all spoke English, which was a big help for me as an American. I highly recommend this for a getaway. P.S. There are really yummy soup dumplings right next door!

Check-in was easy. Xiao Wu was chatty and helpful, giving me a list of good places to eat and attractions, and sharing some background on Tainan. Another staff member also kindly arranged a taxi pickup for us to get to the train station.
