Energy Inn

Even with gloomy weather and rain, the hotel made Taipei feel warm and comfortable. We had a spacious, clean room with enough room for two to settle in, and all the essentials were there. Drinking water was easy to refill in the lobby or on our floor. The lobby was welcoming and had a claw snack machine, with two free tokens for guests. On the second day, we came back soaked and the staff offered us their shoe dryer right away. They also provide umbrellas. Getting around was simple. It was easy to get here from the airport, and the hotel is walkable to Ximending, shops, restaurants, convenience stores, Poya, Watsons, and other local favorites. Even late at night, the streets nearby felt safe. The staff were the real highlight, always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond with genuine smiles. When our luggage was delayed in the heavy rain, the front desk woman noticed and offered early check-in so we could rest and dry off. That was so thoughtful. The in-room AI box was a fun, futuristic feature too. We could speak to it for help and simple room requests, which made communication easier when we needed something quickly. Breakfast was delicious, with just-right portions. We chose it the day before, and it was freshly made the next morning. I liked that system because it seemed sensible and helped avoid food waste. Everything about the stay, from the cozy room and convenient location to the considerate service, made a difference. We were extremely happy and grateful for the hospitality, and would definitely come back to Taiwan and recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.

We had a family room that worked well for five people sharing two twin beds. There was enough room for our four suitcases and to walk around, and breakfast was good. The hotel is in an alley about a 5-8 minute walk from Ximending exit 6, with Family Mart and Seven Eleven nearby, plus Macdonalds and other local restaurants. There’s also self-service laundry. I’d recommend it for a first trip to Taipei or Taiwan, especially if you want to shop and eat around the lively Ximending area at night.

The room was spacious and clean, with great water pressure, though there was no view, no bathroom toiletries, and no water bidet. Breakfast is included and changes each day. The staff were very helpful. It’s about a 10-minute walk to MRT exit 6, with local restaurants, milk tea shops, and McDonald's close by. I’d definitely recommend it.

We spent 4D3N in a room for four and loved it, 10 stars! The hotel is an easy walk from the Ximen shopping area. Staff were proactive and spoke basic English. There were two breakfast choices each day, and the options changed daily. The cafe toilet was clean. One washing machine and one dryer are available.
