Green World Linsen

The walls were so thin that I couldn't sleep, with Japanese women making noise late into the night.

The room was very small, with a low ceiling, badly patched walls, a tiny bathroom that barely fits one person, and cracked bathroom tiles. The windows and walls did nothing to block noise. I heard street sounds even in the middle of the night, and could hear someone coughing next door. After staying at other Taipei three-star hotels near Taipei 101 and the busy Taipei Main Station, where I heard nothing indoors, this place was an unpleasant experience and I couldn't get the good night's sleep a tired traveler needs. Basic amenities were missing. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the room, unlike other three-star hotels, and they used environmental reasons to disguise that. Although it advertises itself as a three-star hotel, the room condition deserves one star. It seems to be used mostly by budget tour companies trying to save on hotel costs. Stay away if you can, or ask your travel agent to move you elsewhere.

Green World Inn Linsen isn't fancy, but it’s a good choice if you'd rather keep hotel costs down and spend more exploring. My room was very clean, the shower pressure was great, and the location was convenient. The staff speak fluent Japanese. My family has already stayed here again, and I will too.

Wouldn’t recommend it. It was very dirty, and we had to sleep in the 😷.
