The room was roomy enough for a comfortable stay and well maintained. It was a bit dark at times, so the lighting could be better. Check-in was smooth, and the receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Being near Ximending made it easy to explore, and I had a good two-night stay overall.

The hotel has a vintage feel, and while it looks old, it's clean and tidy. The rooms have lovely views, as does the buffet hall on level 12. Breakfast was included, with plenty of choices and some local dishes each day. The staff were friendly, too. I had an amazing experience here.

The view was really great, and the staff were very friendly. There were no bugs in the room, which is very important. The price was quite affordable, and I'd like to visit again next time. The building is old, and it's some distance from Ximending Station, which makes going back and forth difficult in summer. It's in a corner area, so I wouldn't recommend it for women traveling alone. Taiwan is very safe overall, though, so it may still be worth considering.

The mold smell was terrible, and changing rooms didn't help. The place is very old, and water wouldn't drain, so showering meant standing in knee-deep water. The breakfast was good, the window view was amazing, and the location wasn't bad. But mold is the word that sums up this hotel for me. I don't understand how it got a health certificate.

47M from San Francisco, stayed two nights. It had been a while since I'd opened a hotel room door with a physical key, and I kind of enjoyed the nostalgic feeling. Very clean, great service, no complaints. Hotel breakfasts are usually bad, but I liked this one.
