RF Hotel - Zhongxiao

The staff were helpful and the location was convenient, which were the only good parts. The room was dirty, with dust covering the sprinkler above the bed and the top of the headboard. The bathroom silicone was mouldy and rusty, and there was even a cotton bud behind the toilet seat. The walls are thin too, so I could hear the TV next door.

There’s complimentary water, coffee, tea and other things at reception, and the staff were warm, friendly, and easy to approach. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, so I had a pleasant, relaxing stay. A satisfying experience.

The bathroom is entirely a wet room, so it’s awkward to leave anything in there. Its door doesn’t reach the ceiling, letting steam into the room and leaving the air damp and musty. It also means someone could potentially peek over it. The room itself is tiny and laid out poorly. Traffic woke me in the morning, and light still came around the fully closed curtains, so I couldn’t get back to sleep. Avoid if you can.

It’s centrally located, but the rooms feel old and have a musty smell. There isn’t much lighting, and the bathroom is pretty worn, with scratches and marks everywhere.
