Shilin market is right nearby, along with several convenience stores, and Jien-Tan MRT station is just a three-minute walk away. There are plenty of bus options too. I loved having a full bathroom, washing machine, small fridge, and AC. It felt like a cozy home during my Taipei stay.

It was so cold in winter, and there was no heating or enough blankets. I asked for more, but they just said they didn't have any. There was no hot water either, and they didn't provide a hairdryer. It sucks!

Star Sand House (No.128 Jihe Road, Shilin District, Taipei, Taiwan) is illegal. They won't compensate you for loss or damage. Be careful about fire, crime, or secret cameras. You can report it to the Department of Information and Tourism, Taipei City Government.
