W Taipei

The pool was heated and never felt crowded, and the breakfast had a lot to choose from: baked goods, fresh juice, a salad bar, an omelet station, fresh fruit, and more. Our room was spacious and clean, too. We spent a week here as a family, and every staff member we met was kind, professional, and helpful. Shops and restaurants are all around, and the metro station is very close. The location was great, and the stay as a whole was exceptional.

Breakfast was the one real drawback for us. The buffet was large and good quality, but more than 80% of the hot dishes were pork-based, which left us with limited choices. More non-pork proteins or clearly expanded alternatives would make it more inclusive. Would I come back? NO. Recommend it? NO. The rest of the hotel had a lot going for it: bold, modern design and an energetic feel that didn't get overwhelming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with great views and the small details you'd expect from a W property. Service throughout was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The location was excellent.

We stayed for two nights, and Esther Lin at the front desk gave us a warm, kind introduction to the hotel. I'm very grateful for her help. I'd also recommend YEN Chinese Restaurant on the top floor of W Taipei. Sam helped me with two separate orders over two days and made the dining experience much better with his helpful service and great recommendations. I really want to thank Esther（front desk staff )and Sam (YEN restaurant)for their wonderful help.

The Bose sound system in the room deserves a mention. Hotel speakers are often an afterthought, but this one sounded crisp, rich, and powerful. It worked just as well for winding down at night as it did for getting energized in the morning, and really changed the feel of the room. The room was stunning and spotless, with crisp linens and gleaming surfaces. Housekeeping clearly takes cleanliness seriously. From arrival, the bellhops were welcoming and quick to help without hovering. Check-in was smooth, and the Front Desk team recognized my Titanium status and made a real effort to make the stay special. As a Titanium Elite member, I travel with high expectations, and W Taipei exceeded them. For high-energy luxury, thoughtful service, and top-tier amenities, I'd choose it again. I can't wait to return.
