The owner was fluent in English, kind, and helpful with every question we had. He helped us get to know Taitung and the surrounding area, which made our stay memorable and felt like great value for money. There are free bikes, so local sights are within reach, and the area has lots of cheap but tasty breakfast places. Ask the owners for recommendations. Our double room was basic but spacious, and the common area was cozy. A little more furniture or decoration in the bedroom would make it feel more homely. Still, the hospitality was very good.

The owner was friendly and helpful, but we had a frustrating time trying to leave. A taxi arranged by the owner never showed up, so we had to go into town to find another one and nearly missed our train. Don’t count on a taxi pickup here. The hostel is basic, noisy because of young children, and pricey for what you get. It’s about a kilometre from the main part of town, so I didn’t find the location convenient. I think there are better places in town.

The double room was clean, and the host was very helpful. She helped us figure out how to get to Lanyu Island at the last minute and suggested vegetarian restaurants.

The owner was incredibly friendly, and I had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The room had a lot of beds, so it felt a bit cramped, though it was still manageable. If I visit Taitung again, I’ll definitely stay here. Thanks for being so welcoming.
