Getting in and out can be a bit tricky because it’s in a busy area on a narrow street. Parking is a five-minute drive away at a nice public lot, and they provide vouchers for entry and exit. Inside, my room was clean and nice, and the spacious lobby has interesting decor. I only really interacted with staff while trying to use the lobby coffee machine.

We arrived after midnight and were still able to check in. The rooms are quite large, and the hotel is in central Tai Tung. Breakfast is provided at a nearby restaurant. Uber isn’t available in Tai Tung, but staff called us a taxi that arrived within two minutes.

Good value in a central location. My room was clean and nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay at Feng Chi Inn.

The breakfast place is quite far away, so make sure you know where it is to avoid getting lost. The hotel’s service, though, was really impressive. I could feel how much they care about travelers and want to help them through having a hotel in Taitung. The place is very clean, has a nice amount of space, and the staff are friendly. Great location too!

The location is convenient, and you can store a bike indoors if you ask. I found the bed too hard, though that’s just personal preference. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, but staff training could be more consistent. The receptionist wouldn’t let me into my room before 3, while the owner let me in earlier. I was concerned about the room having no windows, but ventilation wasn’t a problem because the bathroom had windows.
