Was the neighbor being difficult? There was dog poop in every parking space, so we kept worrying we'd step in it getting in or out of the car. When we left, the neighbor's dog barked wildly at us.

The bed setup made for a miserable, sleepless night. I booked a double room with a king-size bed, but it turned out to be two smaller beds pushed together. The join was a hollow metal frame, so my weight sank into the middle seam when I lay down. There was only one quilt, not big enough for two people, so we had to squeeze under it. The metal frame also stuck out and scratched me. It was sharp, and seems dangerous for children at that height, so please be careful with kids. I told the B&B owner, but only got an apology and no words of comfort. That's why I can't leave a good review. If you're planning to stay, please don't book the king-size bed. When I first arrived, the place seemed warm and clean.

I loved the room as soon as I saw it. The landlady showed me the first-floor room and asked if it was alright, but the atmosphere had already won me over. It looked like the photos, felt comfortable and relaxing, and had the bedroom design I'd always wanted for myself. One night there left me very satisfied. There were high-security keypad locks from the main entrance all the way to my room, which made me feel completely at ease. It was my first long-distance bike trip and my first time in Taitung, and this lovely guesthouse became another great memory from the trip. The landlady was incredibly warm and friendly. The four-person room had 20 electrical outlets, more than enough, and the bathroom's wet and dry areas were nicely separated. You could flush the toilet paper, which felt environmentally friendly, and complimentary non-alcoholic drinks were available. There was also a top-rated breakfast spot nearby, Mari, within walking distance. Everything was new, clean, and tidy, and the price was very reasonable. After checking in, I immediately wondered whether they had branches in other cities.
