I really enjoyed staying here. It’s conveniently located near 7-11, restaurants, and other attractions. My favorite thing was the free bikes, which made getting around Taidong easier. They even have a pump for adding air to the tires. The staff were friendly and helpful, and invited me to make myself at home. Downstairs there’s a comfortable seating area and a kitchen guests can use, with a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven. There’s also an elevator, which is rare at places in Taiwan. I liked that the bathroom separates the wet and dry areas. The Wi-Fi did give me trouble once in a while, but it wasn’t a serious issue. The price is very affordable, and the proceeds go to a local organization that helps survivors of domestic violence and single mothers. Booking directly with the hotel gets you an even better price than using a booking agency. I’m looking forward to coming back!

The Garden of Hope Foundation is wonderful, and this kind of social enterprise really sets a good example. Thanks for running such a warm, welcoming hotel. In sunny Taitung, it feels like a shady little refuge.

Aixin Hotel is great value. My simple, cozy room had two single beds, plenty of space, and even a small balcony. The front desk staff were welcoming, and I slept almost the whole night through. Maybe the room was well insulated, or perhaps the area is just very quiet. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taitung.

We got into Taitung after 9 pm because of the time restriction on the Suhua Highway, and the owner helped us reserve a room. It was clean and very affordable, with all the basic equipment we needed. The shared area has a water dispenser, fridge, microwave, toaster, and washing machine @@. Parking around Taitung is easy, with white lines along the roadside.
