Little Bed and Breakfast II

The place is simple, bright, and clean, with a large, comfortable bed and a nice down pillow. We stayed in rooms 301/302 for the first time. There’s no elevator, so you have to carry your bags up three floors. It’s handy for Taitung Forest Park, but there aren’t many restaurants nearby. We met the landlady at checkout, and she was friendly and recommended places to eat! 😍 At night, we could hear the water heater or pipes, perhaps from other guests showering. Whether other guests are noisy seems to depend on luck. Given how affordable it is, these issues are acceptable. I'd definitely stay again! 🫶🏻

There was coffee, tea, and snacks on the first floor, along with a shared fridge and water dispenser. The room was comfortable, and the shower pressure was so strong that water sprayed everywhere. I'd seen earlier reviews mention a washing machine, but it wasn't available for guest use during my stay.

The hostess and housekeeper let us shower and change into comfortable clothes after our bike ride, before we caught our train, even though checkout time had passed. Thanks to them, I'd happily stay here again the next time I get the chance to bike in Taitung. Highly recommended!

The room was very clean, and we slept more comfortably than we ever have in a guesthouse. My husband and I both loved the spring mattress and even wanted to find out its brand 😂. The shower temperature stayed steady, even when we turned it down a little, but the pressure was incredibly strong. Don't turn the showerhead all the way up, or the jets feel like they could pierce your skin. This self-service setup was new to me: you send the owner your booking confirmation, and they give you the door code. The owner also sent lots of helpful ideas for attractions and restaurants 👍. The ants were a hassle, though. I left a drink can on the table, and they swarmed it soon after. I had to wash it in the bathroom right away or the table would have filled with ants. Still, it's a pretty good guesthouse.
