The boss was okay, but breakfast was very basic and average. It’s near the train station, though quite far from the city centre.

The staff were so welcoming that I felt right at home, and the owner was very nice. My room was comfortable and had thoughtful touches, and I had a wonderful night during the Lunar New Year holiday. Breakfast was delicious, parking was convenient, and the railway village is about a 10-minute walk away. I’d highly recommend this B&B for a visit to Taitung.

Check beforehand whether the owner’s friends will be visiting. Karaoke went on past 10 PM, followed by conversation in the lounge, which stayed open until 10 PM. Even knowing friends were coming, the owner still let other guests stay. A terrible experience.

We got in around 9pm, and the owner was enthusiastic about telling us about nearby attractions. Some appliances in the room were broken, though it didn’t affect us much. The experience was good overall, and it was an inexpensive hotel with great value for money.

The two-bedroom apartment on one floor was peaceful, with no noise at all, and had all the amenities we needed. We liked it enough to stay for two nights. The B&B is less than a 10-minute drive from the city center and night market, parking was excellent, and the owner was polite and helpful. The price was very affordable and included breakfast. They even kindly offered to prepare a vegetarian breakfast. Highly recommended.
