Su Xi House

The owners and their family made this stay for me. They were so welcoming, offered tea and snacks, and pointed out places to visit and food to try. The guesthouse is lovely, with lots of wood and a nice smell. My room was bright and roomy, with a comfortable bed, heater, AC, and fan. It’s very central too, about a 10-minute walk from the bus station by the art village.

The owners made us feel so at home, with lovely hospitality throughout. They shared a map of good places to eat nearby, were always ready to explain how to reach the sights, and even helped us reserve tickets for a one-day sightseeing bus tour along the Taitung coast. The room was large and clean, and the shared sitting area made it comfortable to relax. Romeo B&B was our favorite stay on this Taiwan trip. We’d definitely recommend it and hope to return. :) PS: My father drew the entrance to the BnB.

The owners were lovely and went out of their way to help, even suggesting several restaurants for us to try. The price was good, and the beds were clean and comfortable. Just a note for short trips: they provide hand towels, but not body towels.

The owner was genuinely kind and polite. Breakfast came from a nearby breakfast shop, with one set per person, and checking out was easy: we just left the key in the frame on the door. The hostel is on Zhongzheng Road, has parking, a water dispenser outside the rooms, and quite a lot of spacious rooms. The younger owners were a different story. While we were speaking with the owner, his son kept interrupting. When his daughter heard that more than 10 of us wanted to borrow bicycles, she looked reluctant and impatient. She also immediately said adding a mattress would be difficult, even though the owner had agreed to it. It was sorted out in the end because he insisted. The owner was great, but the younger owners were a long way from that.
