The shower and toilet share one space, which makes them easy to use. The water doesn’t get very hot. It’s a clean, efficient place for up to four people, and an easy walk from the train station.

The water only gets warm, not hot enough for a relaxing shower. I heard the hotel opened five years ago, and it seems this problem still hasn’t been fixed.

June 2025: I met a receptionist on my second night who really understood things from the guest’s point of view. With the same facilities, a staff member like him can lift the service a lot. He deserves five stars. I like Chamcham’s facilities and location, and I’d give it five stars for service if every staff member thought about what guests need. April 2025: The room I had was about 350 square feet, with a very comfortable king or queen bed and a single bed. The fluffy comforter was nice to curl up under. I was on the sixth floor, which is actually the fifth since there’s no fourth, and had a good view from the window. The hotel is a three-minute walk from the train station, though it’s outside the city center and many attractions aren’t walkable. If you don’t rent a car or motorcycle, the bus terminal is right beside it. There’s a small Starbucks in the hotel with coffee and a few menu items. Breakfast is served on the second floor, where the cafe also works as a snack bar and arcade during the day. It’s not a grand buffet, but it saves you a trip out. If you’re driving, downtown may be a better place to eat. I had a good stay.

There’s a good range of breakfast dishes, and the train station is within walking distance.
