There are lovely little scenes and lots of small shops near the guesthouse. Our trip was wonderful and fulfilled my mother’s dream. An elderly member of our group was especially touched when the owner drove to the train station to pick them up. Even though we stayed in the same building as the owners, the accommodation was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. It really felt like coming home. I’d definitely love to return next time. Thank you for the warm hospitality! 👍👍👍

It’s a very reasonably priced guesthouse, about a 5-8 minute walk from the train station. The only downside was that the living room was a bit cluttered.

Garden Rose B&B was a convenient base for my two-night Taitung visit by train. It's close to the station, with car rental shops nearby, and the price is very reasonable. The rooms are clean and charming, and Anna is generous and welcoming. She makes breakfast herself. I'd happily recommend staying here again.
