Central Hotel

The location made it easy to get around as a tourist, and I had a great stay. The rooms are good quality for such a low price. There aren't really any services, but the front desk employees were helpful whenever we needed them.

I've been to Taiwan more than ten times, and this was the worst hotel I've stayed at. While I was packing in the morning, staff called and yelled at me. Then, as I was checking out, they rudely grabbed my hand, took my room key, and kept yelling. If you don't speak Mandarin, don't come here.

The place is clean and the location is good, but the receptionist auntie had a really bad attitude. They also limit the air conditioning temperature. That might be fine in winter, but I came in summer and the room got extremely stuffy around noon. When I mentioned it, the receptionist told me to wait until night for it to cool down. If that's the case, they shouldn't restrict the temperature.

The rooms are clean and recently renovated, though there can be a little noise sometimes. Our room wasn't large, but there was enough space for two, and the bathroom was clean. We stayed one night on two separate dates. There's no breakfast, and the desk staff don't speak English. The hotel is near shopping, bus stops, and Zhongli train station. I think booking online costs less, and I'd recommend it to friends.
