Chuto Plaza Hotel

I wouldn't stay here again. We were in block D, where the room felt stuffy and damp, as if it hadn't been used in a while, and there was dust everywhere. The room temperature control didn't work. The hotel seems focused on group tours.

When I first came to Taiwan, I stayed here during quarantine. They kept bringing us good food, and the stay was comfortable.

The bar was never open, which was the one thing we missed. Still, we had a really enjoyable stay as a family of four and would definitely come back. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and we loved the welcome apples. Dinner and breakfast were both very nice, with enough variety even for my picky family, despite there not being many guests. We were there on a national holiday and it was very quiet. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves, apart from two other families. There’s also a gym and billiards. The staff were courteous and friendly, and the price for what you get was unbeatable. The hotel seems to cater mostly to tour groups and airlines, which may be why it felt like we had the facilities to ourselves. The location isn’t the best, and there isn’t much to see or do nearby, but Taoyuan train station is a short taxi ride away, making it easy to reach from the Taipei area.

The kids had a great time in the pool, and the breakfast was so delicious. Our room was huge and clean, and the A.C. got really cold. Five stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
