Migratory Birds Hotel

After hours riding my scooter, I was relieved to find this place right by the road. It was super clean, and I especially liked the old, beautiful music in the common area and the coffee grinder for making a good morning coffee.

The location makes it easy to get to the old Caoling trail and Fulong bike trail. Inside, it’s a cozy, comfortable hostel with spacious, clean, well-equipped rooms. The owner kindly moved us into a bigger room that was vacant. There’s a cozy common area too, with a sofa, soft music, cooking appliances and coffee makers. Highly recommend it.

A washing machine was available, and we could bring our bikes inside overnight. There’s also a good hiking trail not far away. This is a lovely little hostel community by the sea, with helpful people all around. Jimmy was especially friendly and even cooked dinner for three hungry cyclists. Breakfast was toast, spreads and a hot drink. Excellent place. 👍

Just a minute on foot from Dali station, so it’s easy to get here from Taipei. The town is quiet and beautiful, and the hostel is clean and well equipped. The host couple were lovely, kind, helpful and easy to communicate with.
