Silimu Hostel

We went to the hot springs and loved them, and the location near the sea and beach made it easy to find things to do. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and work well for bigger groups, including families with kids. Caesar and Sandy were wonderful hosts, always smiling and ready to help. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and my family was relaxed and happy the whole time. The highlight was the BBQ meal they offer. Caesar’s ribs and roast pork alone would be worth the trip, in my opinion. Everything we ate was fresh and ridiculously good, some of the best food I’ve had in Taiwan, even compared with high-end restaurants. We stayed at Silimu over Christmas 2024 after a family member, who had been there a few years earlier, recommended it. We weren’t disappointed. It was a wonderful experience, and we can’t recommend Silimu highly enough. Just book it and enjoy, you won’t regret it :)

I loved my stay and would absolutely recommend this hostel. It was clean, comfortable, and felt homey, especially compared with a lot of other AirBnBs I’ve stayed in. The rooms were perfect and the location was good. The food was great, too, really good cooking. The owners were so friendly, helpful, and outgoing. They took care of my questions and needs and gave me great recommendations for the area. They were incredibly kind. This stay made my Taiwan trip so worth it!

A peaceful getaway, with elegant rooms and a delicious breakfast. The staff were incredibly welcoming. Silimu Hostel is a beautiful place to retreat to.

The standout for me was the Hong Kong-style family food. Meals are made to order with fresh local ingredients, and I think it’s the area’s best-kept dining secret. That’s what makes this bed and breakfast the best around. The husband and wife who own and live at the property are incredibly hospitable. Their personal service is exceptional, and the rooms are clean and warm.
