Wind Breathing B&B

We brought our two small dogs, and they were welcomed. It's a dog-friendly, spotless B&B close to the ocean, and the owner was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was takeaway and perfectly fine. We asked for a third-floor room facing the sea and got a lovely view of the ocean and Turtle island. It can be foggy, depending on the season and weather. A wonderful, well-run place to stay in Toucheng.

Stayed for three nights and enjoyed it a lot. The hotel is near beautiful mountains, the sea, and a museum.

The room was so comfortable, and everything was spotless, including the balcony. I was especially grateful to the owner, who found my pants after the wind blew them away, cleaned them, and mailed them back. Such a thoughtful thing to do.

The location worked really well for us and our dog. The Lanyang Museum boardwalk is just 3-4 minutes away on foot, with a Starbucks about 10 minutes away and a coffee shop around 15 minutes away. Parking was convenient, and nearby delivery options include meals and all kinds of hand-shaved ice from Jiaoxi. The price is reasonable too. Our four-person room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owner had thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning before we arrived, and the little balcony was spotless. Our dog enjoyed sunbathing there. The bathroom was immaculate, without mold or limescale, and the tub was well kept, with steady pressure and plenty of hot water. It could feel a bit cramped for anyone over 165 cm. The landlady was incredibly kind, even though our dog gets agitated and barks at outside noises. We were worried about disturbing people, especially since the room is on the right after coming up the stairs, and did our best to calm him when he barked at passersby. Her friendliness really touched us 🥹 I'd definitely stay here again in Toucheng. It's affordable, truly pet-friendly, and has a great location.
