Qi Hai Motel

The bed was soft, and the pillows were big.

It was okay.

The way they handled check-out left us feeling as if we'd done something wrong. They'd stressed before check-in that a smoking fine was understandable, but we truly hadn't smoked. At checkout, they questioned whether the room smelled of smoke and went in to inspect, yet couldn't show any evidence. The service made the stay uncomfortable, and that matters just as much as the room itself.

The early morning front desk staff were awful. They gave irrelevant answers, pushed for money, and stumbled when responding to questions. Check-in time is up to the front desk, and if zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give.
