A nice place to stay, though it’s quite expensive.

The rooms aren't especially large or new, but they're clean and have everything you need. The owners are so warm and kind that they make you feel right at home. It's within walking distance of the Children's Folklore and Folk Arts Festival, and parking is convenient. Breakfast is an all-you-can-eat buffet prepared by the owner herself. I loved staying here and will come back for my next vacation!

It's a friendly place, and the rooms can sleep groups of four to eight, which works well for family trips. The owner's wife makes a generous breakfast.

Both owners are very nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the guesthouse is close to Dongshan River, so getting to different attractions is convenient. Five stars from me. The young owner may seem reserved, but he's diligent and does his best to fix any problems. I heard he's highly educated and accomplished, and helps out at the guesthouse on weekends.

The five-person room is inexpensive, and the bed is comfortable. The place is quiet, breakfast is delicious, and so is the homemade filter coffee. The owner is friendly too. If you're going to Yilan, Golden House B&B is worth considering.
