The price is great value, and I found the place very clean. There’s a balcony, plus a shared kitchen with a fridge and tableware, karaoke, and a mahjong table. Breakfast is a simple American-style meal, handy before getting back on the road. The family was gathered in the lobby during Chinese New Year, which made for a cheerful atmosphere. Service was friendly, and the grandmother chatted with guests, though perhaps that only happens during the holiday. Everyone, young and old, was welcoming, and the children were adorable and eager to talk. It all felt simple and warm. I’d read older reviews mentioning low shower pressure, but the owner said it had been improved. During my stay the pressure was strong and there was plenty of hot water. I appreciate an owner who makes changes based on guest feedback, so five stars from me. Highly recommend!

The room was simple, but the bed was just right, not too soft or too hard, and breakfast was included. The common areas are great for family gatherings, with a mahjong table, karaoke area, and lots of tables and chairs. The owner was warm and hospitable, and even gave us two big Mother’s Day cakes for our family celebration. We’d only been thinking of asking if they could order cakes for us, so we were really grateful! 😍 Remember to bring your own toothbrush for the eco-friendly room.
