Yao Woo B&B

The house had a distinctive interior, with handmade details created by the owner and family. It was comfortable too, especially the bed. The whole place worked well for a big gathering and felt relaxing. The owner was very welcoming and often offered handmade drinks for free. Finding our way around was the only small challenge. Highly recommended!

The guesthouse feels very new, and there’s a strong smell of wood. It was nice not having to worry about disturbing anyone, so bringing children and their noise didn’t feel like a problem. The owners were welcoming and clearly artistic, and I really liked them. It’s quiet at night and a good place to sleep. I did have concerns about privacy because there are cameras inside. If the owners want to monitor valuables, I’d suggest moving them outside; that would also avoid worries about children accidentally damaging or using things. The surroundings could use some attention too. Fallen leaves covered the ground, and the coin-operated children’s play equipment in the creative area was very dirty. One machine worked, but the other didn’t.

Parking was very convenient, and there’s a nicely decorated restaurant across the street. Inside, the trendy cypress wood gives the guesthouse a warm feel. The staff were welcoming and polite from the entrance through customer service, and their friendly service put us at ease. Our room had a beautiful view and made it easy to relax. I came away with a very good impression, and the service made the trip even better.

It felt like being back in the countryside, with lots of nostalgic memories. The place was clean, tidy, and comfortable, and the owner was friendly and hospitable. There was plenty of parking, and the restaurant was delicious. Booking the whole restaurant was great value. I’ll definitely return!
