Fan Zai Cuo

The rooftop was a real highlight, with a huge lounge chair for about 10 people and a lovely spot to stargaze, catch the sunrise, or chat. In the evenings, the owner went up to the fourth-floor roof and pointed out constellations with a laser. The owner was kind and even gave us a free ride from the pier with our luggage, then took us out for dinner that night at no charge. His wife was very chatty. There were free fried dough twist samples, karaoke, fish soup after 10 PM, alcohol, swing chairs, an adorable black cat, and lots and lots of rabbits. Our four-person room, using four beds in an eight-person room, was comfortable and had a distinctive semi-loft layout. Eight people would feel cramped in it. Breakfast wasn't included and cost an extra 50 baht; the owner helped buy it, and there was plenty. There were only small towels, no large ones, and no toothpaste or toothbrushes.
