Liuqiu Dive Hostel

I loved my first diving trip on Liuqiu island and all of it was enjoyable. I hadn’t expected to see so many sea turtles! I’d highly recommend doing the OW license here, especially with coach Tony, he’s awesome.

My mom and I booked the night before and got to dive the following morning. We spotted a turtle and lots of fish. Both coaches were knowledgeable and easygoing. I’d happily come back.

The hostel was a great place to stay too, with a real focus on being environmentally friendly. I’d trust this school with getting your first diving license. The instructors were attentive and committed to students’ progress and safety. When training in the ocean, the classes had no more than two students per instructor. My instructors were Ah Kun and Ah Xu.

I did my advanced open water course here and learned a lot. We started with theory in the morning, then did five dives with very good guidance and a great teacher. I stayed in the hostel above the dive shop, where the beds were good and clean and the atmosphere was relaxed. A pleasant experience, and I hope to return one day.
