The homestay was well run and pleasantly small, so even on the weekend it wasn't crowded. It was lovely getting to know the owner and his wife. They're generous, kind people. From booking until we left the island, the owner replied quickly and helped make the vacation smoother. He arranged discounted ferry tickets, took us to rent e-bikes, and brought us snacks from nearby places. He's also skilled at photography, especially drone photography, and we were delighted with our photos. Can't wait to return.

My first guesthouse stay turned out to be a wonderful experience. The owners were so kind and helped us arrange a diving trip and car rental. They shared lots of useful information about food and transport and helped with unexpected situations too. We're very grateful. I'd really recommend joining the stargazing tour. The stars were gorgeous, and the owner's explanations were excellent. 👍

I brought a group of Swiss guests to Xiaoliuqiu from October 13th to 15th, 2025, as part of my work as a tour guide taking international travelers around Taiwan. We stayed at Lunar Mare, where the owner and his wife gave us wonderful care and hospitality. I'm truly grateful, and I think we'll meet again soon. They were kind and ready to help with arrangements and different needs, so I highly recommend this guesthouse. If you get the chance to visit Xiaoliuqiu, consider staying at Lunar Mare or Baihai B&B.

The sea views from the rooms made a lovely first impression, and the owners were so kind. They helped me book water activities and even lent me a drone for free so I could get some great photos. I hardly ever write reviews, but I’d gladly stay at Baihai again on my next trip to Xiaoliuqiu. They made my first visit really special. 🤭

The night sky tour sounds like a must, so I was disappointed that clouds kept it from happening this time. Still, everyone was so welcoming: the owner and his wife were lovely, and the three assistants were handsome and full of energy ❤️‍🔥 (Super Jingye). They’re happy to suggest food or things to do if you ask. The B&B is in a great spot too, with three bars within a five-minute walk. I’d come back.
