Breakfast is included and was nice; dinner is available for 250 twd per person, and both meals are buffet style. The rooms are clean and spacious, and you’re close to some of the area’s prettiest hiking trails. Still, the furniture and rooms feel dated. The toilet is in the shower room, while the vanity for washing your hands is in a separate bathroom. They advise keeping the windows closed because of insects and monkeys, though there’s air conditioning.

I wish I’d had more time here. It’s a great place to relax and meet people, and I made a few good friends on the patio. The staff made sure I had what I needed and answered lots of questions. Breakfast was wonderful, and the live musicians at night were very talented. I enjoyed exploring the different areas and reading the historical plaques, and there’s a small convenience store for basic items. The location is the best part: right in the middle of Taroko Park, with a real feeling of nature and isolation, though the small town is just a short walk away. The rooms are clean and look out over the gorge.

Peaceful and affordable, with a unique spot overlooking the gorge. It reminds us of European convents and is a lovely place to connect with nature. Cat 💗

The restaurant has a lovely view, especially on a sunny day. The room is spacious and looks out over the forest, and the location is good. The facilities are old-style and a bit dated, though well maintained. Service was so-so, and breakfast was really bad.
