It’s quite a walk to get anywhere, and buses don’t come often. The room itself was big and the bed was okay, but I only received a tiny face towel at first. I got a bath towel only after I was standing on the stairs dripping, and the host then went on a long outburst. No English is spoken, so there’s no local knowledge to get. To me, this is a one-star B&B without breakfast, not a four-star hotel.

The owner kept monitoring what we did throughout the property, and there were lots of rules that hadn’t been explained ahead of time. We weren’t allowed to drink beer in the room, even though we weren’t making noise like the neighbors were. They made a lot of noise at 1am, but the owner kept scolding us at just 10pm instead. The owner was very stingy about the fridge too, nagging us for storing a few drinks and saying there wasn’t room when it looked quite empty. If you like being controlled and watched, you can stay here. Otherwise, don’t come.

The host was rude, controlling, and made the place feel unwelcoming. It was the worst place I stayed in Asia. I'd say spend a little more and book somewhere nice instead.
