Fukun 3 Motel

Yilan itself was lovely, but this hotel nearly spoiled the trip. For the price, the quality was shockingly poor, and it was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The rooms sit above a garage, which might have been an interesting feature if it had been done well. Our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke from the moment we entered, and the smell stayed through our entire 2 night stay. It was dusty and moldy, with cobwebs in the corners and questionable stains all over, especially a disgusting headboard. The bathtub leaked, so every shower left a flooded mess. The shampoo and body wash dispensers were far from the shower, meaning we had to awkwardly get in and out of the tub to reach them. The lighting was dim and confusing, and the unnecessary purple mood lights made the room feel bizarre instead of cozy. There was no housekeeping at all during our stay, so the room stayed gross the whole time. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
