River Forest Leisure Farm

The room was spacious, and this is a cute place to stay if you’re visiting the area. It’s a little rustic outside, and Luo dong night market is a short cab ride away. As someone from North America, I found it strange that we couldn’t flush toilet paper, and there wasn’t any hand soap by the sink. Maybe that’s a cultural difference, but bring your own soap.

On a hot summer day, swimming here is hard to beat. The pool water comes from an underground spring, so it’s cool and refreshing, and it’s the best pool I’ve found in this price range. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, but the pool is the main reason to stay.

The room matched the pictures and was good, but the in-room swimming pool needed a better clean. Leaves, branches, and bird feathers were floating in it. They also need to do something about the mosquitoes.

As a traveler from Indonesia, I was impressed by how well this hotel looks after its guests. I asked about checking in early, and they suggested I rest at the snack bar while I waited. They also let me leave my luggage in the lobby while I went shopping. The room was convenient, clean, and elegant. The location was good, and the restaurant offered snacks, coffee, tea, and instant noodles during the day. That felt like five-star service.
