Ayubu made our month-long stay feel like home. The house was comfortable, lovely, and safe, and he looked after us so well. I was volunteering with Faraja Orphanage, which is connected to Cactus House, where some of the volunteers stay. He also helped arrange some truly lovely trips for our group to see Tanzania. I can’t wait to return.

Ayubu was incredible, making sure we had what we needed both at the house and on safari. The in-house chef prepared delicious local meals, with fresh seasonal fruit every day. We were there with three kids, who loved having a room and bathroom of their own, and we all enjoyed sitting outside day or night. The clean, comfortable rooms suit solo travelers, couples, or families. The Cactus House is in Arusha, close to where we needed to be, and the team and accommodation are wonderful for the modest price. Ask Ayubu about his excursions, and consider visiting Faraja Orphanage to meet some lovely local children.

I stayed here for a month while volunteering at the orphanage, and it was an incredible experience. The house is spacious and has a lovely African touch, just like the photos. Ayubu was our host during the stay and still feels present even from a distance. I’ll definitely be back to Cactus House Experience soon.

Ayoub goes out of his way to help with everything and make your stay pleasant. The area is beautiful, and you feel safe here. For a home-like stay in Arusha, I’d recommend this place 100%.

Ayubu helped us with anything we needed, and the whole volunteering experience with faraja orphanage was beautiful. The place is cozy and has everything you need. I really hope I get to return sometime.
