The staff are incredibly friendly, and the location feels safe and quiet. My concern is how crowded the bedrooms are: there are too many beds in a small space, with everyone sharing one shower and toilet. That might suit younger travelers, but it wasn’t great for older travelers.

We only spent one night at this hostel, but it was a lovely surprise. Even though we arrived very late, the manager welcomed us happily. The rooms were clean and cozy, with tasteful bedsheets, and the living room had enough space for 8-10 people. In the morning, the staff did their best to make us a delicious, healthy breakfast. The photos show it better than I can. Thanks for the great service and genuine kindness! 😊🤗

I spent two weeks here on a volunteer trip and would happily stay again. The hostel is right in the heart of the city, and it was spotless throughout my visit. The staff were kind and welcoming, and always helpful with questions about places to eat or visit and how to get around. I’d definitely recommend it in Arusha.

Getting to Siret means taking a really rough side road, but the house itself was a pleasant surprise: modern, fresh, and the cleanest hostel I’ve stayed in so far. At first I was annoyed about having to leave my shoes at the door, but it clearly helps keep the place clean, and now I think more hostels should do it. We got a spacious, nice double room on the spur of the moment, and my laundry was done quickly for 5000 TZS. Our plan was to stay two nights, but that evening we were told there’d been a booking problem and we had to leave the room the next morning. It was a hassle, since other hostels were really expensive for just one night. The boss worked with us and offered two dorm beds at no extra cost, which was kind of him. Dinner was fantastic, wali na maharage, probably the best I’d had in five months in Africa. Breakfast was included and delicious, too. I also appreciated that the staff member asked whether we ate meat or eggs. I’m vegan and usually have to give hostels a long list of instructions, so it was nice not to be the one to bring it up first.

I spent three months at this hostel while doing my internship in Tanzania. The welcoming atmosphere and staff made it feel like home, both for me and for the other travelers who kept coming back whenever they were in the country. One of the warmest places I’ve stayed.
