My family and I had a fantastic time at the villas, which looked just as good in person as they did online, maybe even better. Having direct beach access meant we could take sunrise walks, something my parents especially loved. The staff were excellent, and the chefs served great food every day. There’s plenty of privacy and room to spread out or spend time together as a group, so it’s great for a family holiday. I’d absolutely recommend it and would stay again.

There were 13 of us at coco villas in Zanzibar, and we all had plenty of room. The place was beautiful and matched its description, in a great location, with amazing support staff. Noah was wonderful, and both chefs were fantastic. The hostly team made our stay a lovely experience. I’d definitely recommend it and would return if I’m back in Zanzibar.

Coco Rise sits right on a quiet part of the beach, and it looks just like the photos. The interior felt brand new and was thoughtfully designed, almost as if we were among the first guests. Since we were a large group, we booked both villas. That worked perfectly because opening the divider lets you connect the two rooftops into one big space. Communication was quick and easy. We had a great time and would highly recommend it.

The layout is especially handy for groups: the villa has three floors and three bedrooms, and each side has a private pool. The first floor has a kitchen, family room, and a bedroom for anyone who can’t manage stairs. Upstairs are two bedrooms with bathrooms and balconies; one is the master suite with a TV and a larger bath. If you book ahead, the bedroom mattresses can be set up in your preferred size. The rooftop has a sofa, hammock, dining area, and an outdoor projector. It’s a beautiful villa with amazing staff, right on the beach and with direct access through the gate.
