We expected more. In the room, the TV only had 2 Channels, football and news, with no movie channel. The bathroom towels had a few dark spots and need to be changed. There were too many flies moving around the food in the restaurant. I ordered lunch, and my fish came out hard like a road stone from being overcooked. The internet signal looked strong, but nothing would connect.

You get a decent place to stay on a low budget right in Ilala, Dar es salam. There are grocery shops nearby, and both private and public transport are easy to reach. The staff are kind, the food is good, and there’s Wi-Fi, room service, and an elevator.

The rooms have air conditioning and large windows that let in plenty of light and air. There are quite a lot of mosquitoes, though, so bring repellent if you want a good night's sleep. Food is cooked while you wait, which keeps it fresh. The property also feels very secure, with CCTV cameras.

The hotel itself is nice, but reception and the service were terrible. Nobody gave me enough information about checkout, then I was charged extra for something I hadn't been told about. I had to wait an hour while they tried to figure out who had failed to do their job, and in the end they just told me, “Just go.”

It’s in Ilala near Buguruni Market, and handy if you need to get to the airport early since it’s closer than other luxury hotels. The hotel has conference facilities for seminars and workshops, plus laundry, free Wi-Fi for guests, and room service if you don’t want to eat in the restaurant. There are different kinds of food too.
