The location is decent, the showers are hot, and the staff are good. But the rooms are poorly finished, and the breakfast isn't good for the nightly price.

No 33 Lodge is a small, recently opened place that still feels fresh and new. Near Coco Beach, it's a peaceful escape from the busy city, quiet both day and night. The rooms are lovely, practical, and very clean, with the comforts you'd expect from premium service. Beds are excellent and firm, showers have strong hot water, and the linens and towels are good quality. The breakfast buffet isn't large, but it's enough, with nice items that change from day to day. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional. Lewis and Mary at the front desk were especially helpful and responsive during our stay. We'll book Lodge #33 again on our next trip to Dar. It's a great boutique hotel, and a good example of why travelers might pick one over big chains that can disappoint.

The location worked really well for Oyster Bay, with most places there and Coco beach an easy walk away. Our room was clean and nice, and the cleaning staff were lovely. Breakfast was disappointing apart from the fruit, and at reception we got the feeling we were a bother. We didn't feel very welcome when we arrived.
