Riverview Hotels Apartment

The apartment itself is good, but our booked rooms had already been given to other guests when we arrived. Staff moved us to another room, where rainwater came straight inside during the heavy night rain. We got exhausted and put all our belongings on the bed to keep them from getting wet or damaged. The hotel should arrange bookings properly and honor the dates reserved.

Customer service is active and good, but the rest was a letdown. The rooms are tiny and uncomfortable, the bathrooms are messy, and the stairs are very steep. The rooms don't match what is advertised, and the TV has no channels.

The apartments are affordable, especially for a group of 3-6 friends sharing the whole place. Each one has three bedrooms, a shared living room, an open-plan kitchen, and a balcony for sitting out in the evening. My room was clean, with air conditioning and warm shower water. The people there made me feel like a VIP and were always ready to help, whether I needed outside food, data, or a trip to the bank or mall. I told them I'd stay with them again if I visit Dar Es Salaam.

The rooms are clean and well furnished, and if you're on a budget, the place is manageable. The location isn't ideal, especially with Uber, since drivers can't find it. The receptionist wasn't very accommodating.
