The Baobab Home stay

The room was clean and the location was good, but at $26 a night through booking, I didn't think it was worth the price. They seemed to be cutting costs constantly. I had to ask each time I wanted a shower for the water to be turned on. It felt like someone would peek through my curtains to check whether I was still in there, then shut the water off again. They also don't service the rooms. After my first two days, they started telling me to leave my key behind when I went out. I pushed back since nobody had mentioned it earlier. The woman said, "okay you don't have to leave it then." It left me wondering if she had been trying to scam me.

The staff were so welcoming, thank you 🙏🏽. I had a great overnight stay, and the location is ideal for the airport.

We had a pleasant stay in Dodoma. The room was clean, and both the Wi-Fi and AC worked well. There was hot water in the shower too. They seem to usually ask guests to leave the key when going out, but they were fine with us taking ours along. We'd recommend the place.

The backyard was a lovely spot for breakfast when it wasn't raining. Dodoma usually goes for months without rain, but we got lucky and saw some 😂😂. Breakfast was great on the first two days, then noticeably not as good over the last two, and I don't know why. The location is handy, near the airport, biggest market, food places, and two shops just 20m away where you can get essentials late. Service is great, though sometimes there's a wait because one girl is covering a shift alone. The room is nicely decorated, clean, and has AC and a fan. Extra rooms have a TV. The bathroom is the smallest I've ever seen. Fine for one night or even a longer stay, and I'd recommend it.
