Mango Beach house

We happened upon this lovely hotel while staying somewhere else, and after dinner there, we’d definitely choose it for a future stay. You can see even from outside how much care has gone into the place, and dinner was delicious. Beth, the owner, is at the heart of it. We spent hours talking with her about her vision for the hotel and how much she loves the island. She also consults on tours and puts together unusual, less mainstream experiences for guests. Highly recommended.

Beth and Dulla helped us plan activities, from a local sailing boat and snorkelling to good places to eat nearby. They also made my girlfriend’s birthday incredibly special with a custom beachside dinner, a menu made for us, cake, decorations, and flowers arranged on the bed. You could tell how much thought went into it. We loved returning to Mango after days out exploring, and the staff always made us feel at home. The meals and cocktails were among our favourites on the trip, with fresh fruit and great mango juice at breakfast. Days were peaceful, and Saturday nights brought live music, food, and drinks. Our room had its own character, and we loved waking to the sunrise over the sea and stepping straight onto the sand. The beach setting is beautiful, and Mango Beach House is easily one of the most amazing places we’ve visited. We’d return in a heartbeat. Thanks to Beth, Dulla, and the whole team.

Beth is so kind and makes you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. We had delicious food that was clearly prepared with care, and really enjoyed our stay. Mango Beach House is a beautiful, cozy place in Jambiani. The view is stunning, and the peaceful, lovely pool area is perfect for relaxing. I’d happily recommend it.

The villa is serene and beautiful, with ocean views, a lovely pool, and cozy patios outside every room. We stayed in the cinnamon room, with two rooms for the four of us, and had plenty of space. The host was kind, and the staff were consistently attentive. It’s right by the beach and not too far from Paje. Breakfast was amazing. The seafood plata was okay, though not my favourite, as some of the fish was overcooked. They also hosted a beautiful event. A wonderful stay.
